Fruit

did you just pick that off the tree
it doesn't appear ripe
or is it me
I pressed and smelled it just to see how firm
has it been touched by a secret worm
if it has its probably no good
I do believe its misundertood
how sweet how good it could actually be
when pulled from its life way to early
why would you want to take the chance
to see if it was ready to dance
releasing the juice of its integrity
made from the earth quite naturally
one bite the seed is very large
this piece of fruit is found in the barge
way in the islands of life you see
how ripe is your fruit in your tree
