Frozen Trees Stand Like God's

I think of rooted gods. gods that are encompassing, seed-bearing, life supporting, blossoming, sky inhaling, earth exhaling, ground firming, shelter offering, reach confirming, water retaining, fire to ash feeding, and forever sight inspiring. High beings as lowly as the soil they share their spirit with. Gods, that even while frozen and naked remind me of the immortality of all mortal things, or the inevitability of falling only to rise as smoky offerings to an ungraspable starlight.
