They help us make it through all kinds of weather. I have got a mud dobbing swallow that is coming to the porch outside my kitchen window as if to say to me please bring some water that is not frozen to this bird bath. She is also looking for a place to build a nest. I can't see how she can know that Spring is on its way in this cold. I love the way that you put these thoughts together in this Haiku. Keep the pen flowing. Sara
