Frozen

Is it you that I see
Looking out so thoughtfully
In your mind, do you ever feel adrift?

Like the wind filling the sail’s
On an old wreck of a ship
Slowly disappearing out at sea

Will you forever be
Lost in my memory
It’s hard as I watch you drift away

Into the dark rain you slip
Lost inside the waves hidden rips
There is silence on the frozen artists lips

Will you forever be
Lost in your memory
Sailing out the world on many ships

If it’s you that I see
Watching out so thoughtfully
I would say I love you, but it’s frozen on my lips

Hi Cynthia, thank you for the soup mail. But, for some reason I can not respond :(. I hope everything works out for you. I know how it is, to have it all pile up at once. Sending warm hugs... LINDA

I like your message and your organization of thought. This is nostalgia well written with a twist - kind of bittersweet. Love, daver

Hi once again, this is deep, and it makes me feel, a drift, from your unspoken lips. Maybe in time, you well share how you feel...Love Linda

I would always share how I feel with "you" linda, I try telling everyone in my writing but some things lay silent, and lie down wounded, maybe forever, some will heal and come to the surface,
