Frost

In a cool winter day
as the season begins to warm
trees are covered in a coat of white
decorated by hoarfrost
transforming it
to a beautiful winter land
as the wind gently blows
through the branches
with each puff it cascades
settling on the ground below
soon the trees become barren
the coats gently removed
only to be redecorated
on another day in winter's season.

It's a memory sence I moved. But it's been some time. Did you get burned out? don't worry you'll be back.

Beautiful Phil. Wonderful imagery. I could see the trees decorated with garlands of white. Am just back after finally getting a new pc. I was hacked by hackers again and couldn't even turn on my old one. God Bless, JB

Enjoyed reading your frost poem, but don't like the experience of hard frost and snow!

We see snow once in every 7 or 8 years if we are lucky in this part of South Africa but if you live for instance in the Drakensberg area stretching all along the Eastern Coast of Southern Africa you will see it more often . I long to see a winter Fantasy land covered in white fluffy snow. Hugs Jenny.
