From Your Window View
Amidst the trees and
Flowering Rhodendron
Trailing in orange, pinks and white...
I watch the path you climbed so many times
Holding the hands of those you loved.
From your window view
I see waters - quietly stretching in even flow...
Waves are nought.
Waters framed in Cascade Mountains.
See!
There speeds a boater interrupting the calm...
I am glad someone's happy today,
Or so it seems,
From your window view.
The sky - pale with motionless clouds.
An homage to your parting?
Will there be stars tonight?
Or will they be on holiday as is the sun!
From your window view
I see so much yet understand so little
Of what happened to you!
I flinch as behind me I hear them eulogize you...
How I wish they would stop and join me
As I watch for you in spirit flight.
A whole world of you,
Seen from your window view!
