From Within My Own Glass House

I am reminded often that I can be quick to judge what someone else says or does when I have been guilty of the same thing. True, maybe the circumstances might be different but it all boils down to the same thing. A cat is still a cat whether you are looking at the head or the other end. I think most of us would benefit from being a little less critical and more tolerant.
It's so easy to point your finger...
I'm sure you will agree.
The blame for all the things gone wrong...
surely doesn't fall on me.
For I am safely living in my own comfortable glass house.
My only companion is a perfect little mouse.
I only seek acceptance for the choices that I make.
If they don't work out...then it was because of your mistakes.
Won't you listen to my important views?
What do you mean I don't come first?
Your not being very sympathetic...
my feelings you have hurt.
What's that you say...
you claim I hurt yours first.
Why listen to yourself...your thoughts are quite bizarre...
I only wish I could save your reaction
in a pretty mason jar.
Well...I need to go now and shine all my pretty glass...
what do you mean...I'm acting like an ass?
