From Within

FROM WITHIN
Have you ever seen,
my beloved,
where the river comes
to you for comfort,
oh no,
you are the one who visits..
or where the sky wept
just because you shattered it
with your voice
ranting untold words..
telling your miseries..
or where the grasses screamed
because you stepped on it...
no my friend,
it doesn't fight back..
find yourself in yourself,
not outside the self..
think of all the beauty
still left around you
and be happy my dear..
you can only be happy
if it's from within..
I peeped through the window
of your soul to see
the thoughts of your heart.
I heard the footsteps
of your words walking
in the garden of my heart.
I feel the wind from the wings
of butterfly in my stomach
carassing my face like
the raindrops from the clouds.
I smell the fragrance from
the lilac tree blooming
under the sky
in the love garden of
a beautiful soul.
Can you hear the songs
of the birds outside your hut..
they beckons to your soul
to come dance with me.
