From Way Up There They Come
Let's take a walk upon the outside
feel the atmosphere deep in your bones
take your eyes all the way upwards
way up there forget all your moans
The skies cannot be measured
your eyes can't see its end
no matter how far they stretch
every strain looking past every bend
Hurricanes come in great power
taking everything with them by force
leaving devastation in its wake
then we're left perplexed by its course
Rainbows come not like hurricanes
for its multi colours so shine
showing such beauty to all around
bringing a promise in its sign
From way up there they come
but God speaks through the rainbow
promising never again to flood the earth
hold on to the promise never let it go
