From Us All

today is my dad's 87th birthday
my family and I didn't think we would see today
we are all thankful with celebration
below is a little entry by me
happy birthday dad from all of us

"from us all"

from all of us to the one and only you
we’re happy you’re with us to start anew
life has been a journey with words to write
now we celebrate as you see life’s light

all that you have done for us all one by one
it is your devotion with love that makes us one
so on this day that we thought would never be
it is you with the gift of life we come to see

from all of us on this miraculous day
there are so many words we need to say
