From Then To Now

When we close our eyes we can drift away...
                                     To places far back in our minds where they stay...
                                  A visit without the pain or fear that might have come...
                         Where apologies and mistakes fade in and out with blame for none....
                               Places now reflect images that were never on the surface...
                                   Where hands can scribe a past without a bitter taste...
                                              From time to time I like to drift away...
                                        But I always find my way back to a better day...

Russell Sivey Date: 8/16/2012 10:46:00 AM Its always good to drift back to see days gone by! Sometimes they are quite pleasurable and delightful! We all have those moments in our life in which we have good and bad events that have happened! We need to see them from time to time! So drifting back isn't a bad thing, it is necessary to keep from repeating the bad things, and helpful to create the good once again! The pathway back to reality sometimes is narrow, but you must make it back, then commit to the greatest path you know how! This is a wonderful write my friend! Great Work!! Login to Reply
