From the Heart To the Page

Feelings, emotions, deep penetrative thoughts
     sometimes, just strike
Perhaps enticed by a mood
                               or even a glass of wine

I delight when this happens
Ideas flow
Anticipation abounds
It seems, there’s actually a physical response

For me, the excitement of creativity 
                                    is nearly unmatched
It’s when I know,
                    the purity of spirit thrives
And sensation moves 
                            from the heart to the page
