From the Heart of a Rhymeless Poet
It's unimaginable
How long I've nurtured the wish
To have you sit with me
And share a close connection
To have the feeling that
I'm yours
And you're mine
Even when you've not said so yet
To watch you speak
Not just because I want to hear you talk
But just for the illusion
Of kissing you I'll get
To hold your hand
In the midst of my ecstasy
And get my fantasies fulfilled
It'll be, yes, it'll be a memory that'll last forever
