From the Heart
It dropped again
that night that you kissed him
or was it her
too wrapped in emotion, I was
to even be sure
the moments were far
the memories few
the air apparently
a darker shade of blue
inner thought's inhibition
party til dawn
leaving/living that heartfelt song
it's more painful when it's wrong
pictures paint a fractured feeling
puzzled jigsawed black from right
it's just another night
where the moon bleeds on out
and I'm in, denial,
such is the final
straw strewn about
it all comes and then it goes
from the heart
