From the Dawn of Time

It arose 
out of 
     the primeval ooze
     Chemical bonds 
were formed and destroyed 
by the elements
    Just the right blend 
was needed 
       to bring forth that 
which we call "life"
    A new era 
began
      Where the building 
blocks of early life
    became able to grow 
and reproduce themselves
    It was this early 
occurence
             which led to 
   the plethora of
flora and fauna we 
    know today
    How is it that 
such a humble beginning led
   to such remarkable results?
   It's a question we 
we can't answer
     unless we refer 
to a reality 
     which is beyond 
our comprehension
    lest we feel too proud 
We should take a little 
   time
    to count the vast 
stars in wonder
   And accept that
we are limited 
      by a finite comprehension
