From the Bottom of My Heart Forever I have to have this whole part missing from me Lord knows the cold winds of pain blow since you left me Tears come a lot less but they fall on Mother’s Day and your birthday I still hate cancer with a deep passion for taking you away My tears warm and my soul is cold without you here today Love you gave me still stirs my soul and my mind Death is cruel but love always keeps you in my heart and mind Your smile and your voice sit deep in me and I smile Our talks while you were taking chemo for a while You telling me about life and me thinking about you not in my life Watching you fade away and losing this battle for your life Sun just shines a little brighter with you in heaven now My soul holds our laughs in my heart now I cry because the past of you and your hugs never go away Mama the love you gave me is what made me this way Strong and passionate about life and poetry and these words in me When these winds blow on me I know it’s you loving on me Sometimes it is so hard to not fall deeply into dark Not having the angel who holds the deepest parts of my heart The woman who I love from the bottom of my HEART SQ
