From Sea To Shining Sea
Sounds of silence – Peace be still
Deliver finest melody to me
Paraphrase a delicate reality
For purpose she was born
From sea to shining sea
Revere those whom freedom drew
To scribe immortal words
Giving truth a mighty try
Backdrop to a darkened world
To shine upon the hope of souls
Henceforth all must fight
To save her singularity
Unleashed the maggots gnaw
Exposed the healthy flesh
To weep and bleed again
Refreshed the tree of Liberty
Please own this truth my friend
