From Purple To Black To Grey To Love

Now this looks like our black became grey, Became less of a fade to gone. Became a “survive the night of absolute horror”, Which had spat us all out by dawn. It began when the purple sunset, that Stretched along the ocean line, Became a black glitter of impossible dark, When it lost its glorious shine. And our guard sat down, became relax, A feel, a “don’t resist anymore”. Before the screams and roaring lion, Before being summoned to stand at a war. A war that ate all our strength, Storm, guns, artillery throughout the whole night, ‘Til, from our bleakest bleak, The baby fell asleep by light.
