From One Mother to Another

I gave my chick a worm to eat.
He only wanted cream of wheat.
I told him it was time to fly,
but all he did was cry and cry.
Though it may sound to you absurd,
out there's a cradle with a bird,
and in my nest, I think, maybe,
I have a li'l human baby.

A very twisted read. Fun but also slightly disturbing. Well done.

Haha, thanks, Alison, yep, I think it would be unsettling for both sets of parents and both babies!

There are parents somewhere screaming, frantic after checking on their infant and finding fish bait. Very much you, original, unexpected and funny!

Thanks CayCay - it's terrible when this kind of mix up happens!
