From NYC To Kansas. . Little Angel’s off to Kansas To Grandma's house It sure is a long way I’ve only driven two blocks And its took me all day . I hope I get there real soon I’m tired and I promised her I’d be their by the afternoon . I packed some lemonade And candy bars I hoped Would last all day But I got hungry from peddling And ate them on the way . It’s nearly time for bed I better turn the other way And try to get to grandma’s house Another day. . Peter Dome©2020.
