From Now On

From now on, I will love you,
There's nothing you can say to change my mind.
A year ago I met you,
And ever since our worlds have intertwined.
It's been an easy transition,
Gracefully merging together as one.
I lay beside you every night
And greet you every morning with the sun.
When we rise to start the day,
I look at you while I drink my coffee.
Smile ear to ear from across the room,
As you get dressed, the deeper I swoon.
Look you up and down, and down and up
My heart beats faster, pouring with love.
We part ways and kiss goodbye,
I shut the door, and let out a long sigh.
You may never know I admire you in this way,
But my love, from now on, I am here to stay.
