From Now On
From now on I’d keep the window open
Look out as long as the failing vision would last
See the world’s kaleidoscopic show unbroken
Suffuse in the shimmer of the sky at sunburst.
The sparkle of grass-top dew on the meadow
Would bring the patina of pristine pearls to me
The colored cloud on serene sky loitering low
Would weave in my mind the tapestry of ecstasy.
In the gleam of full moon in the silvery night
like a flower petals would open on your face
I’d sprinkle on them the stardust of my delight
They’d glow in the luster of your gorgeous grace.
From now on I’d sit and wait by the open window
For the moonbeam to bring your scented shadow.
