Closest I’ve been to was Puerto Rico, with bustling San Juan, where I spent time at the Caribe Hilton casino, balmy weather, and white sandy beach. As a worker for Hilton, the hotel was on strike that lasted for three weeks, and I managed the front desk since I’m bilinguist, Spanish, French, and German. Some Japanese, too. Their front desk manager was the temporary bellboy. During strikes, management does the menial task. I help out where my skills are needed the most.

Ah, a Perfect Martini at the Blackjack table or a Gin Tonic Highball at the Craps table.

Your career has been interesting for sure! I loved San Juan! They got me good with just one daiquiri. LOL

Wow!! What a nice one. Makes me wonder if you have been to the Caribbean to see this wonder. Thanks for sharing it with us. I have heard of a brown boobie on TV but never have seen one in real life. Thank you for sharing it with us. Sara k

I was wondering what they were. Yes, I was just in the Caribbean and the sight of these birds just outside my reach. So cool!

They will also swoop down and take your bait. My wife often gets me that way with apple pie. Of course dear, great idea. Delightful imagery. Well done.
