From My Heart

as I stand before waters edge,
feelings of,compassion
wash over me,

there is no other love for me,
for here this love nearest me,

she breathes when I breathe
she is warm, when I am cold

in all of my dreams it is she that
I hold-

from ancient womanhood
reveal their scribe

this love, this feeling I could not deny,

I am truly thankful for this one true
miracle

this beautiful soul delivered unto me

we somehow captured one another
and although we have experienced more
than our fair share of roller coaster rides

our strength our love more powerful
than all of life could forsee

for here we stand together, at waters
edge before the world...you and me
