From Mirrors I See
In front of me stood nothing but a little girl;
Pale white skin, fake smiles and broken brown eyes
Rosy cheeks, long black hair with her head held high.
Baggy sweaters she wears to hind herself;
Like a ghost, here yet so invisible to the world.
At my lingering gaze her fake smile breaks;
A small tears turns to a sobbing mess.
I wiped the tears that had dropped down my face;
I ran my hand over the cold mirror surface
And turned away as I remembered that little girl is me
