From Last Goodbyes
What were you thinking
you never said goodbye.
Time escapes slips and flies unchained away
if not tended or guarded
the depths of the heart die.
Wipe away my bleeding tears
should time return our love
would I embrace the moments I'm unworthy of
what words could I say in passing years?
A heart broke and lost
to a time of love once felt
in memoriam
terminal regret never
surfacing from last goodbyes.
