From Endemic To Pandemic
From endemic to pandemic
The media and politicians are taking the mick!
The scary virus gathered then,
Scattered the crowds who now share the fear
And panic!
No one is spared from the crowd now,
If you cough you are in trouble
If you sneeze in public you are in a double trouble
You are seized, then quarantined
If you look dizzy then falls, you are definitely
An endemic, and for sure a contagious pandemic
The year of the plague in Italy is now back with all its tutti frutti
From Milan to the Wuhan you are doomed to self-isolate
And if a need be, forcibly isolated
Then wait for your turn to be dead!
The year of the Armaggedon is felt in the holy shrines of
Mecca and medina now,
And prayers’ congregations are also banned.
Slight eyes and Asian looks are now suspicious
And have to be blamed for a new weapon that flew from a lab
They’re now being fished and dished
And against their will, being accounted for
The new spreading cases and deaths
Alert! All sanitising gels are sold out,
And alert! All toilet paper are becoming gold to find
What an onus is now on China and Iran,
Fly then run and run far away from this continent
That you may survive it
What an onus on the world health organisation
That proved barren and static before the rising threat and fake news
The endemic becomes pandemic and we are all crying for
Sanitising gel and toilet papers to stock!
