From Darkness to Light

As the sun lifts the shroud of darkness, Light surrounds and lovely sights come into view; A palette of colors in the sky, A plethora of blooming beauty on the land. Each dawn persuades us to be a wick of flame And teach the world the grammar of light

Yes, if only we could teach the world the grammar of light, but most want to wander in darkness. Thank you for sharing this one with us. It reads like a good contender to me for the contest. Way to go. Sara K

I like how you describe humanity as a wick for the flame of this planet. Great work.
