From Cimmerian Woods
bewitching muse
of swirling mist
beckons
girl-child crowned
with ebon hair
eager as moon
approaching
midnight sky
she moves toward
mystical rendezvous
while naivete
trembles
Note: cimmerian refers to a mythical people who lived in perpetual mist near the land of the dead.
