From Child To Man

In what time does a boy become a man? When does the title change from child to sir? In how much time does the change span? When his fathers’ breath is no longer to stir? Or when the words of the occasion are told and heard? Is it forced upon him with life anew? Or accepted in degree by the choice to nurture or refuse? Is it a title given by family or a fellow soldiers’ fall, When the battle cry is answered in the interest of us all? Is it the sum of his choices that bring adolescence end? Or one decision made in life where his path does bend? Is it a question with no answer to give relief? Or is it simply found in ones own beliefs? Does this question of time and state, To the nature of man even relate? Or is it like the measured reality of time, Mostly false except in frame of mind?
