From Books of Gods and Lovers

From Books of gods and lovers From the wind he came-- like an angel With wings upon his back As he leaned over my bed and kissed me He dropped his travel sack Fresh breeze was on his shoulders And shirt of light blue sky. I took in all his happiness And looked into his eyes. Black hair was slightly in his face As he took my lips in mouth And swallowed love of goddess He thinks of from the south. The North and East behind him He travels all the time Looking for his niche in life The song with words that rhyme. He is mythology to me- from books of gods and lovers. He is warriors to me -of temper, claim and passion. He is ocean to me- with waves so deep and quiet. He is storm to me- that move so strong and long. R. Risley Author 02/98
