From Above

Compassion for fellow man
                            I think not

Though we say
Think we do

In times of trial
We come up short
Of the mark

As we always have
And always will
From the very start

Anytime
At any start
Deep within the
Human heart

We care only
For self
Of one

But that was
Known and
Why we were sent a
Son
