From a Distance

do you mind
If I love you
from a far
If I care
where you are
as your poets moon
crosses my sky

would you mind
If I wished
you were lost
inside my bed
where you belong
as my poets moon
crosses your sky

could we mind
loving each other
so totally close
heartbeat to heartbeat
distance passes unnoticed
by the poets moon
watching us from above
