From a Distance

It is strange and funny Like a game Being the odd one Among others Way far from age and stage of life Within hand's reach Cannot find a person Similar to me In finding dreams Ways to make it happen Conversation over Same problems Same understanding Being there Giving emotional support Growing old together Being in arms and smiles Wandering If there is one for me Will it be too late Will it be too much for me to handle Does he want to know me Finding things he loves about me Open arms to who I really am Should I risk it all With a step forward To get him notice me Afraid of embarassment Not able to make it happen Awkward and maybe uncomfortable Afterwards While losing my mind If I stand there, do nothing Letting this opportunity goes by Making me a fool Only time will tell Making my heart Ready to make a move Towards my prediction Wish me luck... © Sue Sanzz 2020
