Frightening Place

Fog enhances this place of intense fright Pumpkins litter the yard with all their strength The path is obscured having little light Shadows are formed increasing in their length Hearing only the noises of ghosts near Pumpkins litter the yard with all their strength Candles are lit within each window here The moon escapes the scene, being clouded Hearing only the noises of ghosts near Witches brew will kill, it is not doubted Lanterns sway in the fog, not quite shining The moon escapes the scene, being clouded The werewolves here are waiting for dining Waiting for lost souls that will travel by Lanterns sway in the fog, not quite shining This place is spooky and that is no lie Fog enhances this place of intense fright Waiting for lost souls that will travel by The path is obscured having little light Russell Sivey

What a marvelous read from a blessed paged built on lines constructed with the lyrics of the skies and words well supported by dynamic foamy clouds. Message well expressed! No doubt an absolute 7##.

You've really done well on your Haloween poems this year. I read them all. Happy Halloween!

Another creative Halloween work that you enjoy writing..Thanks for stopping by..In magazines there are ads for fragrances and there is a folded flap with a sample of the scent in the flap..I was speaking of rubbing some of that on as I walked out the door because that scent is so high that will be the only way I could wear it..Anyway I am very sensitive to scents and most give me a headache..This one did not but who knows if the real thing would cause me grief..Thanks for the visit..Sara

You had all the fixings for a good Halloween night - beautifully laced together. I was halfway expecting it'd get even darker and you'd mention druids as well! But it's rather eerie enough I'd say. Well penned!
