Friggin' Ground Hogs
Have you ever noticed on Ground Hog Day
The ground hogs hog the spotlight
They're frigging ground hogs for crying out loud
We honour these rodents in spite
Supposedly they know when winter will end
So we let them have their say
They don't need to tell us there's six weeks left
March twenty-first is the day
There's Wiarton Willie and Punxsutawney Phil
Renowned in Canada and the States
I vote we get rid of these annoying li'l buggers
And celebrate with hog stew and cake!
