Friggin' Ground Hogs

Have you ever noticed on Ground Hog Day The ground hogs hog the spotlight They're frigging ground hogs for crying out loud We honour these rodents in spite Supposedly they know when winter will end So we let them have their say They don't need to tell us there's six weeks left March twenty-first is the day There's Wiarton Willie and Punxsutawney Phil Renowned in Canada and the States I vote we get rid of these annoying li'l buggers And celebrate with hog stew and cake! © Jack Ellison 2013

Oh No! My cats wait all year to see them on kitty TV! With the squirrels and birds... (Kitty TV is my back window)... You can't take this away from them... WAAAA!... Can't break their spoiled little hearts now, can we?

Ha, I'll go for that -"celebrating with hog stew and cake". Don't think the ground hog would like that idea, lol. Good one. Have a great weekend, Jack. I have been so busy lately with school and working. I am getting ready to have my gallbladder removed on Monday. So it's a lot going on for me. I will try to write and read more if time permits.
