Friendship's Fall

In the story of friendship’s fall, The averted eyes said it all. It was not really what we said Neither was it what we did; Rather ‘twas the ways we said And, of course, when, and how we did. We shrugged our shoulders; let things fall Forgiveness could have cured it all.
