Friendships
Tomorrow that chair will be empty
the laughter we shared would be gone
today I wave as I walk far
pretending I'm still standing tall
Each hug ,every smile in a yesterday
is the memory I'm leaving behind
a goodbye beneath cold rainy showers
sinciere friends with wet misty eyes.
And I miss you already
You've been part of my life for so long
You,great friends,I'm glad to have had you
in my heart, you shall always belong.
Maybe one day I will return
to our days of work, chat and fun
to hot coffee and peacakes
to our moments of shimmering sun.
Maybe one day never comes
but the other day was here
and no matter where we are
Our friendship held so dear.
Dedicated to my x working collegues/friends-Maria and Lourdes
