Friendship Bond

Friendship Bond

There may be distance between us,
Or a smile turned upside down,
But your vivid image is never far away,
It’s etched in my mind by design.
Memories of the good times,
And times when we were sad,
Nothing can erase my thoughts,
And a friendship so entwined.
Be it, Family or Friend, now or then,
A role big or small, a visit or a call,
Casual acquaintance or kindred spirit felt within,
These words are from the heart, not just protocol.
No matter the role, you play or played in my life
I wish you All well, and a day without strife.
