Friendship
Formed on a common link.
Broken by the years.
Tossed away without a chance
To be saved from death.
Melted like the winter snow
Into a puddle of tears.
Cast in doubt instead of trust,
Leaving one hurt behind.
Try as I might
I will never understand
All the crazy rules of it.
