Friends Incarnate Together

My mind is split in fifty ways, not the same with any friend.
Different with each.
Each relationship unique.
Not dissipated until the end.
A forever friend.
Because that is how I “do” friends.
Unless you double-cross me more than five times.
The end of you.
The end of me.
But wait, we are souls, so this cannot be.
We have other chances, other lifetimes possibly to get it right.
A soul is forever and ever more.
So termination is out the door.
My mind smiles, as she carefully plans no end to our relationship at all.
Different in every way, with every friend.
Sometimes, saved until the next incarnation,
Because we did not get it right this time.

Such a wonderful subject, perfectly expressed... you & your muse are really in top form!

Lazy muse!- It's just trying to con you into taking the day off! lol You're not "out of poems", because poetry is too much a part of your spirit... it's how you see and process the world!

My muse is whispering in my ear today "we are out of poems!" and I am laughing.
