Friends Forever
I asked her… do you want a man as real as the rainbow?
I asked her… do you want a man to be your heart and hero?
Oh yeah! She answered.. I want to be your beloved bride
… I want to be the woman who will give you passion and pride.
She said to me: do you want to be the last man standing?
She said to me: do you want to be the one in whom I’ll be abiding?
O, yeah, I answered, I want to be your beginning and ending
… I want to be the only one that you will be befriending!
The priest asked us…do you want to live for better… for worse?
The priest asked us…do you want to carry each others' cross?
We both agreed… to live together to bring forth sweet seeds
We both agreed… to be friends forever… with colorful creeds.
