Friends, Forever
Free as the wind, blowing through the trees
You stopped to tell me you only wanted to please
Bringing love overflowing, like the tides of the ocean
Still, cool, calm, sometimes without much motion-
Till I feel and know you are there
To give me that "lift" and let me know you care.
Don't go away, always be my friend
Let us remain close until the end
We can be the closest of close and the best of best-
Through any storm, we can stand the tests of life together.
So hold me in your heart to never depart
And we will be "friends" forever.
