Friends and Enemies

spring sun warms her bones
the wait through winter was long
alone and lonely
now tulip and daffodil
come visit for a season

time passes quickly
when walking with sunny friends
on flowered pathways
too soon the long cold dark days
of winter will snuff the sun

A lovely poem, my friend. Life does pass us by too quickly. Have a wonderful day, Chetta.

A very sweet poem of beginnings of seasons. The meeting of flowers in spring is no doubt real They must be aware of the clamor of growth. I enjoyed these images immensely.
