Friends

Friends are those few souls
we hold so dear.
They make us laugh and cry.
They support us,
lifting us up when we fail,
and rally behind us
in our accomplishments.
They are the people
who we would
weather the storm with
and go down fighting for.
They are family
without the bonds of blood,
the ones we choose eagerly.
