Friends

Lookin for one I can share my ideas
Tell of my deepest secrets and lies
Hoping that we share moments together
Ashes falling from the hour glass
Seeing the sunset together, besides each other
Trying to tie a rope that's too long

Friends, can the world give me one?
Words from the wise ring in my ears
You can't have more than five and less than one
Holding onto the desires of my heart
Rebelling the lust within my eyes
Its a struggle, who will win, who will lose?

I hide from my shame, can't talk to anyone
Need someone to confide to, talk to
Lookin for the best within the worse
I'll take the chance
For all am looking for is a friend.
