Friends

Standing by you during all odds,
Emotive help saving from frauds,
What are real friends for?

Sharing your big and small joys,
Exchanging gifts and all toys,
What else are friends for?

Bearing your poetic endeavour,
Out of way doing great favour,
What are dear friends for?

Turning your evenings bright,
Yet managing stay out of sight,
Why do they make you crave?

With betrayed emotions you will spy,
Losing trust is not a far off cry,
Why do they break up?

With humour and wit you may win a heart,
Closer hugs enough to give a start,
What if souls are one? 

The Thrill
Can grill,
The romance
Can stance,
Ethereal delight,
Losing fright,
Pure ecstasy!

They don't stick with jobs, they don't stick with friends, they don't even stick with poetry sites. I am like old faithful. I stick with everything. Can't even throw stuff away.
