Friends

you were there when I
needed you to be.

You held me tight when
my tears would not stop.

your arms embraced me
when I was hurting.

your words of wisdom are
embedded in my heart.

you tell me the truth when
I don not want to hear it.

you do not judge me even
when you disagree.

your there for the late night
talks when all seems hopeless.

your love for your family is
what admire the most in you.

you always ask how can I help?
you always come to my rescue.

you were sent to me by God
my angel in the night.

your words of advice have not
gone unheard.

without you I am nothing
with you we are one.

I love you dear friend
I too am always here for you.

What a beautiful heartfelt dedication/tribute to your friend. My father used to say one could live their whole lives and only be able to count on one hand his truest friends. I would say you are very blessed indeed! A beautiful poem written straight from your heart. Enjoyed! Take care hun. Love Light Truth Patricia
