Friends
Friends
My friends, you are rays of sunshine,
You can brighten my darkest day;
You give me words of wisdom
To guide me when I stray.
You come in all shapes and sizes,
Each one of you distinct;
And though the miles divide us,
Your hearts and mine are linked.
I know you will always be there,
Mo matter when I call;
You'll celebrate my achievements,
You'll catch me when I fall.
You'll be a shoulder to cry on
If I need to shed a tear;
You'll help me find my courage
If I need to conquer fear.
And if there ever comes a time
When I have to stand my ground,
My friends, I know you'll join my fight
'Till victory is found.
To you, my friends, I thank you;
I'm blessed to have you there;
To know you wish the best for me,
To know how much you care.
You give my life its substance;
Without you I'd be a shell;
And so I thank you from my heart;
I love you all, and I wish you well.
