Friends

When friends become strangers It's like you lose a piece of yourself Broken and shattered When they leave they take a part of you Leaving you empty Not my friends You've always said Until you need them most And they disappear Always too busy You make time for them They never make time for you What are friends anyways People we give parts of our lives to Sharing some of our most intimate parts Only to be thrown away when things get too tough Even though they run when your life gets rough, You still miss them And want to tell them The stupid details of your life And you want to say you're sorry Even though all you tried to do Was be there for them Even when they were never there for you
